张凯是德国哥廷根大学的教授，哥廷根大学木材研究中心主任，主要研究方向包括氢键作用 、纤维素材料成型及其复合材料，担任“Hydrogels杂志副主编，“Scientific Reports”“Journal of Semiconductors”等杂志的编委。
